Happy 4th of July!Wow - I have neglected my blog for awhile...time to catch up on what's been happening over the past month and a half. I am now back to work.......and Avaleigh has started daycare......but we are doing well and getting used to our new routine. She is really adjusting to her teacher, Miss Susan, and drinking bottles during the day. She is still exclusively on breastmilk, and we hope to keep it that way until she starts solids. We have also added vitamins (Tri-vi-sol) to her bottles to try to keep her immune system up and make sure she is getting the nutrients she needs.
Well, I cannot believe my baby is 14 weeks (as of today, Sunday August 9th)! Time sure flies!! Avaleigh is smiling all the time, and she has even started laughing. She will coo and goo at whoever is holding her, and she has got such a sweet little voice. :) She LOVES to be sung to and will even "join in" sometimes when Mommy sings to her.
We had two great visits at the end of July from Grandmothers Bogacki and Stone as well as Uncle Jeremy, Auntie April and Uncle Mikey. They all came down to keep me company (and, of course, see the baby!!) while Jared was away taking a week long class for work. Lots of fun!!
We also love keeping in touch with family via Skype - one of the best inventions of all time!! While its not as good as the real thing, it's pretty darn awesome to get to see our family!! :)
One of Ava's favorite "pasttimes", besides eating and sleeping, is taking baths! She loves them and is so relaxed while in her tub. She also loves taking naps in her pink swing....
